OGUK Physicals

Employees who need to work offshore must pass an Offshore Medical Examination. The standards to qualify are determined to meet those established under Oil and Gas United Kindom (OGUK) guidelines and certifications are valid for up to two years and include the following:

  • Patient Health History Questionnaire
  • Physical examination
  • Urinalysis and other labs determined by the physician
  • Body Mass Index – a measurement of height and weight
  • Vision test for near, distance, and color vision
  • Pulse and blood pressure measurement
  • Lung function test
  • Audiogram (hearing test)
  • Consultation with a licensed, OGUK qualified physician
